CNRS is recruiting a Director for the “Technical Division” of CNRS Terre & Univers.
Reporting to the Deputy Technical Director, the Director of the Technical Division heads the research support unit in charge of project management for the development of scientific equipment, as well as the operational implementation of national resources in support of all the laboratories of CNRS Terre & Univers (hereinafter referred to as the Institut National des Sciences de l’Univers).
Job responsibilities
Contribute to the development of the DT-INSU strategy:
- Leading reflection on the unit’s strategy and defining its objectives
- Organize and manage HR, financial, instrumental and equipment resources
- Develop and structure the unit’s service offering at the highest level
- Develop and present an organizational and GPEC strategy to INSU management, in line with the technological challenges scientific communities
Implement the strategy :
- Support all INSU laboratories in the operational implementation of national resources and instruments.
- Monitor technological developments in INSU’s scientific fields.
- Report to INSU management
Desired starting date: November 1, 2024.
